Dear Sara,

Apologies that your request for help got overlooked for a few weeks.

Start with this: http://rest.ensembl.org/xrefs/id/ENST00000256078?content-type=application/json&all_levels=1&external_db=Uniprot/SWISSPROT

If you do not use the external_db parameter, then you get all linked external IDs and can filter them yourself. Please note that the two IDs you were seeking are from Ensembl's perspective in two separate databases, Uniprot/SWISSPROT and Uniprot/SPTREMBL . Uniprot doesn't really use these terms any more, but it's not easy for us to change this part of our annotation import.

Hope that helps you or somebody else with a similar question. Remember to respect our rate limiter [1]

Regards,

Kieron
