Ah, my apologies, I totally missed that. This has now been fixed on the
live site.

My apologies Simon but you are incorrect on that.

 

The link to download version 73 points to version 72!

 

here is the link target of the link that says "Download version 73"

 

http://cvs.sanger.ac.uk/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/ensembl-tools/scripts/variant
_effect_predictor.tar.gz?view=tar&root=ensembl&pathrev=branch-ensembl-72

 

Please notice the branch version on the end of the link!

On master, all the links point to GitHub. This change will come into
effect in release 75.

Now that ensembl has moved its development to GIT hub. It would be most
helpful if you could update your tutorials on the instalation and update
of the APIs to use GIThub repository clone method instead.

 

Any plans on doing this?

73" actually points erroneously to V72.
