[ensembl-dev] Universal URL for Ensembl Linkouts?

please note the redirect only works for unique identifiers

some species have the same id for gene and transcript
in this case the users are redirected to a search result page, e.g
http://www.ensemblgenomes.org/id/F53H8.4

if you are only interested in genes, you would be better off using the
gene specific url, e.g
http://www.ensemblgenomes.org/id-gene/F53H8.4
