[ensembl-dev] VEP Ensembl & Gene Ontology

Hello dear developers,

I would like to add some information from Gene Ontology DB ( 
http://www.geneontology.org/) as a VEP plugin.

I've been looking Ensembl API and it doesn't seem to support any 
information form GO. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The bad thing about that is that GO API seems very tricky to me. 
http://www.geneontology.org/GO.database.shtml#perl

If you confirm me that Ensembl has nothing to do to query GO I'll go 
into Gene Ontology forums or mailing list to ask more about the GO API.
