Dear Alexander

You can get the 70 Api from a number of sources. The FTP site hosts the current Api release at

ftp://ftp.ensembl.org/pub/ensembl-api.tar.gz

Otherwise you can follow the instructions at

http://www.ensembl.org/info/docs/api/api_installation.html

Please be aware that should you follow the above instructions the urls include an & character which are interpreted by the unix shell. You should always quote the urls if downloading on the command line.
