[ensembl-dev] running scripts over christmas

Addendum - my reply assumes you are running a script from a single  
machine. If you run a script via a farm that submits hundreds of  
parallel jobs, then we may have to IP ban you because it eats up all  
the db connections :)

It's just a question of writing your scripts carefully to avoid this  
issue.
