[ensembl-dev] running scripts over christmas

Hi Andrea

The public databases are the responsibility of the web team. If you  
make sure you use ensembldb.ensembl.org, which is intended for this  
type of usage, and keep an eye on your script, I'm sure it will be  
fine. When we IP-ban people it's generally because they're screen- 
scraping the website or otherwise scripting against it, which prevents  
legitimate use by people wanting to browse the pages.
