[ensembl-dev] Ensembl REST API: difference between /info/rest and info/software endpoints?

Hello Ramiro,

With each ensembl release comes a new data (the actual databases) and
software (the Perl API) version, the current one being 97 for both.
The REST API has a separate release cycle and version number.

The following page explains it further:
https://github.com/Ensembl/ensembl-rest/wiki/API-Versioning

Best,
Tiago
