[ensembl-dev] Retrieve exon number with Ensembl REST API

Dear Ensembl team,
I am trying to retrieve the exon number with the GET overlap/region/:species/:region <http://rest.ensembl.org/documentation/info/overlap_region> REST API Endpoint, however the results are not always as expected. For example:
http://rest.ensembl.org/overlap/region/human/1:179564700-179564705?feature=gene;feature=exon;content-type=application/json <http://rest.ensembl.org/overlap/region/human/1:179564700-179564705?feature=gene;feature=exon;content-type=application/json>
should retrieve exon number 2, while it doesn’t retrieve any exon.
Am I doing any mistake?
