[ensembl-dev] Ensemblgenomes 21-74 branch contaminated with v75 API code

Just to follow up on this.  Going to the main ensemble v74 release did get
things working eventually.  I managed to sort out my other problem with
the registry too - it ended up being a mix up between DBAdaptors and
SliceAdaptors in my code.
