The GENCODE version can be found in the species page:

a) human
http://www.ensembl.org/Homo_sapiens/Info/Annotation#assembly

b) mouse
http://www.ensembl.org/Mus_musculus/Info/Annotation#assembly

For the variation sources, we have this page:
http://www.ensembl.org/info/genome/variation/sources_documentation.html

Which other datasets would you like to get the version for?
