[ensembl-dev] kegg pathway information

Hi Hardip

I'm sorry to say that we do not hold any information relating to the kegg databases. However kegg do provide what looks like a nice rest Api at:

http://www.kegg.jp/kegg/docs/keggapi.html

The conv urls seem to be the way to convert from uniprot (after you've converted ensembl to uniprot) to kegg. Then you can use the find and get urls to get to the pathway info. You'll have to use the Gene object's get_all_DBLinks() method to retrieve the uniprot and refseq ids (since they are attached to translations and transcripts not to genes).
