[ensembl-dev] Apache Error UNDEF ON ENSEMBL_MIRROR

Hi,

I've trying to get a local mirror on ensemble running and I keep getting the following error which seems to prevent httpd from booting / remaining up.
The ERROR:

UNDEF ON ENSEMBL_MIRRORS [Homo_sapiens]. Called from /opt/Ensembl/modules/EnsEMBL/Web/Apache/Handlers.pm line 79

The server will partially start and a mostly broken home page can be accessed if the -X debug mode is used with httpd and

warn Dumper $r->headers-in ;

being uncommented in Handlers.pm line 76

is this error whats preventing the server from working  and how do i fix it?
