[ensembl-dev] blast hit on contigview

Hi Ensembl Web developers,

I am curious about how the blast hit from blast server got displayed on 
contigview when you click the [c] sign on the blast result page. How 
does the blast server communicate to the genome browser the mapping 
location of the hit.

In our gramene installation, the dev site works fine but the live site 
does not display the blast hit on contigview, I am trying to get to the 
bottom of this.
