[ensembl-dev] species names

Can you give us an example of what you'd like to do? If you're using the 
Ensembl API, the Registry should be capable of resolving names for you, 
and the full list of Ensembl Genomes (i.e. non-chordate) species is here:
http://ensemblgenomes.org/info/species
