[ensembl-dev] Retrieving chromosomal band for a gene with the core API

Hi,

I am wondering what the quickest way to get from an Ensembl gene ID to a
corresponding chromosomal band is with the core API?

I can get all the karyotype bands for the slice as follows:

my $gene = $gene_adaptor->fetch_by_stable_id($geneid);

my @{$slicekaryo} = $gene->slice->get_all_KaryotypeBands;

But I want to know the most succinct way to retrieve only the band the
gene corresponds to.

Best,

Gavin
