[ensembl-dev] Running array mapping with a second mysql instance

Hi all,

I'm currently running a second instance of mysql which uses a different
.sock file from the standard one. I specify this on the command line
using "-S /path/to/sock".

I am wondering if I can easily use this instance for the efg array
mapping?

In the efg.config file it is easy to update the MYSQL_ARGS but I get the
feeling that the DNADB_SCRIPT_ARGS will cause more problems as this uses
other variables. Would all the scripts that use the DNADB_SCRIPT_ARGS
variable have to be updated?

Best,

Gavin
