[ensembl-dev] Fw: Please help with installation of Ensembl Biomart Perl API

Hello there:

 I have installed the Ensembl Biomart Perl API on a Linux machine following instructions at the Ensembl Biomart website. When I run the example file included in the installation, I get the following message.

Can't call method "getRegistryXML" on an undefined value at /home/misha/biomart-perl/lib/BioMart/Initializer.pm line 855.

The contents of line 855 are as follows.my $regXML = $pointer->getRegistryXML();
