[ensembl-dev] GO-annotations?

Hello Development team -

Do all assemblies for a given specie get GO annotation?

For example, the fungus yarrowia liolytica (gca_000002525.1) has GO annotation, while yarrowia lipolytica  (gca_900087985) does not.

Curiously, the yarrowia liolytica (gca_000002525.1) is NOT in peptide compara, while yarrowia lipolytica  (gca_900087985) is in peptide compara.

I would appreciate to understand the data annotation better.
