*Ensembl Web Back-End Developer*

We’re looking for a developer to work on our web backend, supporting our move to container-based deployment. We’re looking for Masters in biology, bioinformatics, computer science or a related subject, with experience deploying websites and use of modern technologies.

*GENCODE Project Leader*
Closes: 16th November 2017
We’re looking for a software project manager to support manual gene annotation. We’re looking for PhDs or MScs in Computational, Physical or Biological Sciences, with experience working in genomics developing high quality software.

*Ensembl Production Project Leader*
Closes: 30th November 2017
We’re looking for a developer to manage a small team who run the Ensembl production and release cycle, coordinating other teams to produce their software and data updates for each Ensembl release. We’re looking for MScs and PhDs in bioinformatics, biology, IT, computer science or similar with experience in large scale data processing and workflow management platforms, and knowledge of Unix, a scripting language, a compiling language and workflow management systems.

*Ensembl Bioinformatics Developer - Genebuild*
Closes: 30th November 2017
We’re looking for a bioinformatics developer to join our Genebuild team, building and running pipelines to produce Ensembl gene annotation. We’re looking for PhDs and MScs in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Genetics or related fields with experience in eukaryotic gene annotation and proficiency in writing and maintaining code.

*Ensembl Software Developer - Production*
Closes: 30th November 2017
We’re looking for a software developer to join our production team, who develop software and oversee the Ensembl release process. We’re looking for a degree or postgraduate qualification in computer science or bioinformatics with experience programming, use of compute farms and handling large datasets. 

*Ensembl Web Back-End Developer*
Closes: 3rd December 2017
We’re looking for a web developer work on developing infrastructure for expanding numbers of genomes. We’re looking for Masters, or similar in bioinformatics, computer science or a related subject with experience in deploying websites in a production environment.
