[ensembl-dev] Ensembl 87 is out!

We are pleased to announce that the latest Ensembl update (e!87) has been released: http://www.ensembl.org/


Highlights of this release include:

Human: updated cDNA alignments and RefSeq import
Mouse: update to Ensembl-Havana GENCODE gene set (inc. improved olfactory gene models from Havana)
Chicken: Gene set update
Sheep: New dbSNP data
Zebrafish: update to Ensembl-Havana merged gene set
