VEP Users -

If you need to visualize the results of VariantEffectPredictor, there are a
number of solutions, including VEP's built-in, very useful summary HTML
file and also the VEPbrowse plugin.

We'd like to bring your attention to
pViz.js<https://github.com/Genentech/pviz> an
open source JavaScript library which makes it easy to develop
visualizations of protein features.

As a demonstration of capabilities of pViz we deployed an app to upload and
visualize the results of VEP one gene at time.

http://research-pub.gene.com/pviz/app/vep/

The demo app lets you search for -

   - search for genes,
   - display variant annotations
   - color variants by annotation
   - zoom-in to any region of the protein

We hope the VEP app will inspire you to use pViz for developing such
protein feature visualizations. Other examples of pViz can be found here:

Please let us know of any suggestions or feedback
