Hi,
Ensembl Bacteria GO annotations are generally derived from the
corresponding UniProtKB entry, and in this case, the terms are identical:
http://bacteria.ensembl.org/methanocella_conradii_hz254/Transcript/Ontology/molecular_function?db=core;g=Mtc_0001;oid=molecular_function;r=Chromosome:38-805;t=AFC98776;tab=t
http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/H8I517
However, please note that the terms used by UniProtKB for a given entry
aren't always the same as those available from the GOA project (which
you can see by clicking "Complete GO annotation in the UniProt entry):
http://www.ebi.ac.uk/QuickGO/GProtein?ac=H8I517
The reasons for this are explained by UniProtKB here:
http://www.uniprot.org/faq/52
Hope this explains things!
Dan.
