The Ensembl Genomes Project is pleased to announce release 11 of Ensembl 
Genomes. <http://www.ensemblgenomes.org/>

This release contains 7 new genomes.  Main highlights are:

* Software migration to Ensembl 64

* Cross-references to PHI-base, a database of pathogen-host 
interactions, added to genomes in

* /Mycosphaerella graminicola/ 
<http://fungi.ensembl.org/Mycosphaerella_graminicola/> and 
/Phaeosphaeria nodorum/ 
<http://fungi.ensembl.org/Phaeosphaeria_nodorum/> (major wheat 
pathogens), along with /Tuber melanosporum/ 
<http://fungi.ensembl.org/Tuber_melanosporum/> (symbiotic Perigord 
Truffle) included inEnsembl Fungi <http://fungi.ensembl.org/index.html>

* Three new genomes in Ensembl Plants 
<http://plants.ensembl.org/index.html>: /Glycine max/ 
<http://plants.ensembl.org/Glycine_max> (soybean), the spikemoss 
/Selaginella moellendorffii/ 
<http://plants.ensembl.org/Selaginella_moellendorffii> and the green 
algae /Chlamydomonas reinhardti/ 
<http://plants.ensembl.org/Chlamydomonas%20reinhardti>, along with 
updates to the /Oryza glaberimma/ 
<http://plants.ensembl.org/Oryza_glaberimma> (African rice) genome and 
to the gene models of /Vitis vinifera/

* /Amphimedon queenslandica/
