Ensembl has two job opportunities for talented computational biologists, computer scientists or bioinformaticians. 


Position 1:  Ensembl Variation
The Ensembl variation team leads Ensembl's efforts to deliver and annotation variation data, create resources for understanding population genetics and build connections between genotype, phenotype and disease.  They work closely with large-scale projects at the EBI such as the 1000 Genomes.

Position 2: Ensembl Regulation
The Ensembl regulation team integrates epigenetics and functional data sources such as ChIP-seq, histone modifications and DNA methylation to locate and annotation whole genome regulation in specific cell and tissue types.  They work closely with international projects such as ENCODE and the newly launched European Blueprint epigenome project.
