I am. In fact, I think you and I talked about it last year at HVP.

The use cases for us are to curate published variants, convert them among
genome, transcript, and protein coordinate systems, and to communicate them
to doctors. If I were choosing, I probably would use LRG for some of this.
Or, am I missing something -- do you see a way for me to use LRG for these
purposes?

Please see the tail of my reply to Paul. I'm considering adding NCBI exon
structures verbatim to a local Ensembl instance. It would be great to know
that this is easy. Or that there are scripts already. Or that it's an insane
idea.
