[ensembl-dev] Species short names

Hi

I wonder if you have a method in the API to get swissprot species code 
based on e.g. ncbi taxid.
E.g.: BCCIP_BOVIN
	=> BOVIN for Bos taurus
The short_name() method available in the API does not return the same thing.


And another method to link, e.g. ncbi taxid, to species code embedded in 
ensembl identifier ?
E,g,: ENSBTAP00000007617
	=> BTA for Bos taurus
