[ensembl-dev] snp ids ncbi / ensembl

Hi,

Could anyone enlighten me on this?

When I look at this snp in dbsnp:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/projects/SNP/snp_ref.cgi?rs=66517764

In ensembl it seems to be reported on the other strand:
http://www.ensembl.org/Homo_sapiens/Variation/Summary?r=10:7273178-7274181;v=rs66517764;vdb=variation;vf=26019983

- So in dbsnp: -/ACAT
- And ensembl: ATGT/-

Which of the two is reporting forward strand, and is this always the
case?
