Please note that the Ensembl Rapid Release site (http://rapid.ensembl.org <http://rapid.ensembl.org/>) will be archived soon.

Any hardcoded URL with the prefix “http://rapid.ensembl.org <http://rapid.ensembl.org/>” will redirect to the new Ensembl site at http://beta.ensembl.org <http://beta.ensembl.org/>. 

The redirects will lead to data for the same assembly version for that species, but with more recent genome annotations.

The data which is currently available on http://rapid.ensembl.org <http://rapid.ensembl.org/>  will remain available via rapid-archive.ensembl.org <http://rapid-archive.ensembl.org/>.
