[ensembl-announce] Ensembl release 108 is out

Hi all,

We are pleased to announce that the latest Ensembl 
<https://www.ensembl.org/> and Ensembl Genomes 
<https://ensemblgenomes.org/> updates have been released!

Highlights of this release include:

  * Changes in the human default tracks
  * New genomes added in Ensembl Plants
    <https://plants.ensembl.org/index.html> and Ensembl Metazoa
    <https://metazoa.ensembl.org/index.html>
  * Addition of mitochondrial annotation for Tasmanian devil
  * New and additional data reported by VEP
