[ensembl-announce] GRCh37 release 79 data update

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the first Ensembl data update for human GRCh37 (e!79) has been released: http://grch37.ensembl.org/index.html <http://grch37.ensembl.org/index.html>

Highlights include:

Added variation data for human from dbSNP 142
Imported Genotypes from 1000 Genomes Phase 3
New regulatory build for human
Imported latest release of public HGMD data (version 2014.4)
Imported COSMIC data version 71
Added RefSeq GFF3 annotation
