Please find attached a summary of our intentions for release 10 of 
Ensembl Genomes, due out on 12th July 2011. Please note these are 
intentions and are therefore not guaranteed to be completed for July.

- updated pan concern databases from Ensembl

Metazoa
- updates to gene models for Acyrthosiphon pisum
- updated Aedes aegypti funcgen database (patch SNP affy mapping)
- updated Anopheles gambiae funcgen database (patch SNP affy mapping)
- updated Culex quinquefasciatus funcgen database (patch SNP affy mapping)
- updated Aedes aegypti otherfeatures database (now containing publicly 
available 454 reads from Liverpool group)
- updated peptide compara database
- updated biomarts

Bacteria
- no significant updates planned

Protists
- addition of Trypansoma brucei
- update to latest assembly and gene models for Leishmania major
- updated peptide compara database
- updated DNA compara database containing DNA alignments between 
Phytophthora sojae and Phytophthora ramorum
- updated biomarts

Fungi
- addition of Ustilago maydis
- addition of Fusarium solani
- addition of Puccinia triticina
- new variation database for Gibberella zeae
- updated peptide compara database
- updated DNA compara database containing DNA alignments between 
Fusarium species
- updated biomarts

Plants
- additional GO term annotation based on projection between homologues
- minor update to gene set for Arabidopsis thaliana
- incorporation of latest Arabidopsis thaliana 1001 genomes variation data
- new variation database for Arabidopsis lyrata
- updated biomarts
