Hi,
apparently the ID History Converter

https://www.ensembl.org/Homo_sapiens/Tools/IDMapper

yields some wrong results, at least for ID's

ENSG00000239665
ENSG00000288733

While
https://www.ensembl.org/Multi/Search/Results?
yields zero results for both of them,

The resultfile for ENSG00000239665

Old stable ID, New stable ID, Release, Mapping score
ENSG00000239665.1, ENSG00000239665.2, 70, 0.663704
ENSG00000239665.2, ENSG00000239665.3, 72, 0.985291
ENSG00000239665.3, ENSG00000239665.4, 74, 0.920988
ENSG00000239665.4, ENSG00000239665.5, 76, 0.868974
ENSG00000239665.5, ENSG00000239665.6, 77, 0.991766
ENSG00000239665.6, ENSG00000239665.7, 79, 0.998651
ENSG00000239665.7, ENSG00000239665.8, 81, 0.951912
ENSG00000239665.8, ENSG00000239665.8, 98, 0.927122
ENSG00000239665.8, ENSG00000239665.8, 99, 0.927122
ENSG00000239665.8, ENSG00000239665.8, 100, 0.927122

does not finish the entries with <retired>, implying they are still valid.

For ENSG00000288733 the IDMapper says "No stable IDs mapped to the given IDs", however, when querying for ENSG00000256374, I get

Old stable ID, New stable ID, Release, Mapping score
ENSG00000256374.1, ENSG00000256374.2, 76, 0.815287
ENSG00000256374.2, ENSG00000289022.1, 105, 0.788845
ENSG00000256374.2, ENSG00000288867.1, 105, 0.788845
ENSG00000256374.2, ENSG00000289542.1, 105, 0.788845
ENSG00000256374.2, ENSG00000289549.1, 105, 0.788845
ENSG00000256374.2, <retired>, 105, 0
ENSG00000256374.2, ENSG00000289240.1, 105, 0.788845
ENSG00000256374.2, ENSG00000288733.1, 105, 0.788845

but ENSG00000288733 was never retired. Something seems wrong here.

Thanks
Tycho
