[ensembl-dev] Problem with conection to ensemble

Hello people, I was testing a script some minutes ago and it worked fine till a message started to appear.DBI connect('host=ensembldb.ensembl.org;port=5306','anonymous',...) failed: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'ensembldb.ensembl.org' (110) at /usr/share/perl5/Bio/ensembl/modules/Bio/EnsEMBL/Registry.pm line 1453Can't call method "selectall_arrayref" on an undefined value at /usr/share/perl5/Bio/ensembl/modules/Bio/EnsEMBL/Registry.pm line 1456.
How can I test if ensembl's server is fallen or not? Cuase I don't think it is a problem with my connection..
